JR Linton is an artist who’s range spans varied genres and mediums.
While he often jumps between various Lowbrow art styles including Day of the Dead, 80’s Video Games and stylized Japanese Edo paintings, his primary focus is on Pin-up Girls and the Hot Rod culture.
JR Began his art career, like many with doodles in the corners of school text books and trying to paint the family dog. JR received no formal training learning everything he knows from “girlie mags” and junky yards.
JR tattoos in West Palm Beach Florida, at Hellcat Tattoo. JR has in a few short years racked up numerous awards and a client list including many famous celebrities and athletes.
In addition to tattooing, JR is one of the Photographers for the Atomic Bettie Productions, a Pin-Up production company specializing in vintage and high-fashion photo shoots.
JR is owner and curator of Slushbox.com, an online art gallery where he features and sells his art as well as representing some of the hottest Painters and Tattoo artists.
JR has been featured in numerous magazines including International Tattoo, Car Kulture Deluxe, Ol’Skool Rodz, Rebel Rodz.

So cool to see how you paint! How did you get such nice coverage on the hair and so fine brush strokes? Are you using ink for the hair?
Yup straight FW liquid acrylic for the hair it flows amazing... very tiny but extra long hair brushes old pinstripping trick.
