Beloved

Beloved, originally uploaded by slushbox.

This painting took me forever to finish. I don’t know why it just sat and sat on my desk about ¾ of the way done. Then finally I had an art show coming up for Halloween last year and I kicked it into high the week before the show deadline to get it finished.

El Mercader De La Muerte - Merchant Of Death

The Merchant of Death…. Just finished this on Saturday night, but you get a sneak preview of it. This 11x14 Oil on Board This was the first Oil I've painted in about a year. Very lose compared to how I normally paint and really different from my normal stuff.

It will premiere at the “Howley’s With a Side of Art” – Anything and Everything Show tomorrow night in West Palm Beach at Howley’s on Dixie Hwy. Show starts at 8pm and will run form the January 19th to Feb 16th 2010. Eat dinner in a 50's style diner, enjoy drink specials and listen to Black Weather Shaman live!
